I see art as an escape from reality.

As an artist, you eventually have to get over your own self-censorship to make work that is true and honest.

I don't believe that artists should show the world as it is. We have this ability to create something better, so we ought to do it.

I am attracted to people who were born into circumstances that were meant to crush them, but they fought against the bullshit of the world.
