Collaboration: Art&Found X TFM Studio

By Payal Khandelwal

2018 has been incredibly exciting for us so far. We have a bag full of ideas and plans that will continue to shape-shift into a lot of new work and collaborations this year. We already introduced some of the new columns on our Journal this year including Project, Magazine Workshop, and One Day (Instagram takeovers). We are also exploring our transition into print this year (more on that soon!). And today, we are formally announcing our first collaboration of 2018 with the absolutely wonderful folks at Art&Found. TFM Studio, that publishes The Floating Magazine, has been working as the editor for Art&Found’s newly launched content space, aptly titled ‘The Easel’, since the last few months.

Art&Found curates artworks from contemporary Indian visual artists, and sells them through its online platform. They also do décor for commercial spaces. One of their goals (and one of the main reasons we love them) is to demystify art for a lot of people who are interested in knowing more and owning art, but are often overwhelmed by the idea.

With the new content platform, we wish to take this idea further by talking to artists, collaborators, and collectors under ‘A&F Conversations’. In ‘School of Art’, we come up with helpful tips on collecting art and resources for artists. ‘The Easel’ is also a good place to read about what Art&Found has been up to and about their future plans. All this is just the beginning though. We hope to bring you a lot more fascinating stories and ideas through this collaboration.

TFM Studio has collaborated with brands like Kamalan, Paper Planes, Fish Do It (to create content for Asian Paints’ online magazine – Colour Quotient), PrintWeek India, etc. If you wish to collaborate with us, reach out to us at [email protected].
