Here, For Now, “a photographic intervention” by Dhaka, Bangladesh based photographer Hadi Uddin, opened on 25th February at Kala Kendra, Dhaka. We had spoken to Hadi a while ago about the same series – portraits based in Boirakhali, Rayer Bazar. Focusing on migration, the photographs comment on complex ideas of home and freedom.

While Hadi Uddin works in fashion photography commercially, his personal projects weave poetic frames together. If you’re in and around Dhaka, visit the exhibition to know more about the lives of the migrating locals of Boirakhali.

The exhibition, curated by artist Wakilur Rahman, is on till 22nd March 2017 at Kala Kendra, Dhaka.
